First degree studies - a form of education in which candidates with at least a secondary school diploma are accepted, leading to a first degree qualification. Upon completion of first degree studies in the faculties conducted at the Academy of Physical EducationKatowice, a bachelor's degree is obtained.

Second-cycle studies - a form of education in which candidates with at least a first-cycle studies qualification are admitted, ending with a second-cycle study qualification. Upon completion of second-cycle studies in the faculties conducted at the Academy of Physical Education in Katowice, the student obtains the qualification of Master of Science.

5-year master's degree programme - a form of education in which candidates who hold at least a secondary school diploma are admitted, leading to a second-cycle study qualification. After graduation from 5-year Master ‘s degree programme qualification of Master of Science is obtained.
