Procedures
Student and employee disease spread prevention procedures in the Academy.
The procedures to be followed in case of a SARS-CoV-2 positive student:
1. If a student has informed the appropriate Dean’s Office/Deputy Dean about isolation imposed by the District Sanitary and Epidemiological Station due to SARS-CoV-2 infection, the close contact students’ group or year (exposure 3 days prior to the disease confirmation) will held online classes for 1 week (on the basis of the Deputy Deans’ decision).
2. If the District Sanitary and Epidemiological Station reports an infected student, the Academy’s obligation is to keep and submit the list of close contact persons, and the appropriate Dean’ s Office/Deputy Dean:
a) identifies and lists the people who the person in isolation has had a contact with;
b) submits the list to the District Sanitary and Epidemiological Station in Katowice via Internet on www.psse.katowice.pl
If a student has not yet informed the Academy about SARS-CoV-2 infection, the close contact students’ group (exposure 3 days prior to the disease confirmation) follow the procedures specified in Point 1.
3. An employee in contact with an infected student will be enquired by the immediate superior and, in justified cases, switched to remote working.
The procedures to be followed in case of SARS-CoV-2 positive academic teachers and other employees:
1. If an employee of the Academy of Physical Education in Katowice has informed about isolation or quarantine imposed, the immediate superior will conduct a survey with the employee (in accordance with the proposed template) and keep the close contact persons list (exposure 3 days prior to the disease confirmation).
2. If an infected employee has had contact with any employees in the Academy (exposure 3 days prior to the disease confirmation), the employees may be switched to remote working by their immediate superior.
3. If the employee has had contact with students in class (exposure 3 days prior to the disease confirmation), Deputy Deans may switch the students to remote classes for 1 week.
If the District Sanitary and Epidemiological Station reports an infected employee, the Academy’s obligation is to keep and submit the list of close contact persons. The list will be submitted to Human Resources and Payroll Section by the SARS-CoV-2 positive employee’s immediate superior. HR submits the list to the District Sanitary and Epidemiological Station in Katowice via Internet on www.psse.katowice.pl.
If the Academy has not yet been informed about SARS-CoV-2 infection, the close contact persons (exposure 3 days prior to the disease confirmation) follow the procedures specified in Points 2 and 3 above.
